Nominator's project description
| Professor Wells is an internationally renowned theoretical physicist with several seminal contributions in collider physics and physics beyond the Standard Model. He is especially known for developing new approaches to supersymmetry. In addition, Professor Wells and collaborators were the first to show rigorously how to test theories of extra dimensions at a high energy collider. In Germany, he intends to pursue his research to fully characterize the Higgs boson profile and to study the interplay between Higgs physics and cosmology. |
